Job Description :
Software Test Engineer
-Executes small scale QA projects and/or plays a role in aspects of a larger project. Crafts solutions for well-structured problems.
-Understands and utilizes effective testing methodologies and processes. -Identifies, tracks, and accurately reports defects found.
-Writes and maintains black-box test cases and simple test scripts based on well-defined feature requirements.
-Maintain a high quality test environment by reporting environment defects.
-Creates quality test plans for small scale projects.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
- Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files
- Experience in Java/Perl/Python based automation and/or user-level automation tools such as Selenium or Quick Test Pro
- Experience in Unit Testing APIs like JUnit, HttpUnit
- Knowledge of UNIX environment and Shell scripting.
