Job Description
Lean Change Agent
*Perform elements of site Process Diagnostics and/or Local Diagnostics which focus on one or more of the five lenses across end to end processes (within businesses) through the development of an improvement strategy based on Lean thinking
*Facilitate design sessions with the business to develop future state improvements proposals.
*Support Lean implementation against agreed objectives, introducing Lean methods, for instance: Standard Operating Procedures, Visual management, Workplace layout, Standard work, Process Confirmation and how to reduce waste
*Conduct business manager engagement meetings/calls
*Track, monitor and action on feedback received from BU managers
*Ensure nil complaints from BU manager
*Ensure timely response to BU manager queries
Risk and Control (ICM, BCM, Info-security, compliance, internal audits)
*Manage the operational risk and control framework for all the opportunities identified during the design phase of Lean Projects
*Ensure all the process changes suggested and implemented are within the risk & compliance guidelines
*Obtain ORM, Change board and TRM approvals wherever required before implementation of the changes
Continuous Improvement (CI), Process Re-engineering and automation
*Engage Self towards CI initiatives in the team including process re-engineering and automation
*Monitor individual productivity and identify process changes to improve productivity ( cross training, process changes, automation )
*Drive a relentless focus on improvement, constantly challenging current standards and practices
