Lead Administrator - L1
Roles and Responsibilities:
Windows
Admin, MS Exchange BAU-Business As Usual, Windows Support, Vmware BAU, Citrix
BAU, Windows & AD Support
Skill & Job Requirements:
Windows
Support(L3)-Designing Forest and tree structure, Renaming the Domains, Re-assignments
Of FSMO Roles, Modification of Active Directory Schema, Raising the Active
Directory Functional Level, Optimization of Server performance, Review the
reports for the top alerts generated for the Active Directory and resolve those
items that occur most frequently.
Review the
report that lists all trust relationships in the forest and check for obsolete,
unintended, or broken trusts.
Review all Active
Directory reports and adjust thresholds as needed. Monitor Overall replication
process of Intra-Forest, Enhance the efficiency on monitored services Review
all performance related reports for capacity planning purposes to ensure that
you have enough capacity for current and expected growth.
Monitoring
for threshold level to the required level, Validating the Active Directory
database after compaction, Validating the installation of Active Directory,
Planning and perform Test Migration on ADS, Validating the decommission of
Domain Controller, Checking the Domain Controller Configuration with
recommendations, Rename a domain controller.
Validating
the restoration of Original Configuration, Designate operations master roles.
Reduce the workload on a PDC emulator. Decommission an operations master role
holder.
Seize
operations master roles. Choose a standby operations master. Relocate directory
database files. Speed removal of an expired-tombstone backlog. Relocate the
Staging Area folder. Move, Update or Restore SYSVOL manually. Configure a
reliable time source on a computer other than the PDC emulator.
Ensuring
and facilitating for exact environment for Active Directory after elected,
Maintain the synchronization of Time service, Prepare a domain controller for
long disconnection. Reconnect along-disconnected domain controller.
Ensure all
the outdated domain controllers are removed completely, Remove lingering
objects from a global catalog server.
Create an
external trust (between a Windows 2003 domain and or between domains in
different forests). Create a shortcut trust. Add a new site. Add a subnet to
the network. Designing an Active Directory infrastructure and a network
