Job Description

Associate Software Engineer

Analyze, design and implement different modular components as per business and technical needs.

Work on both server-side and UI-side modules.

Work with architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA and other developers to successfully implement business requirements.

Work with cross functional teams, such as QA team, Development, IT to drive better engineering solutions and maintain existing products.

Author functional specifications and design documents.

Initiate to ensure on-schedule delivery and provide mentoring to fellow team members.

Required skills:

BE/MSc in Computer Science (or equivalent).

In-depth experience in core J2EE technologies and frameworks.

In-depth experience in Web 2.0 technologies.

Experience in working with relational database such as Oracle, mySql.

Excellent oral and written communication and personal/interpersonal skills.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.

Highly detail-oriented and excellent time management.

Passion in developing/programming and debugging commercial grade software.

Desired skills:

Experience working in an Agile environment.

Knowledge of Hibernate, Spring, REST methodology and different open source third party tools.

Familiarity with open source frameworks such as Hudson, JUNIT, Eclipse.
