Job Description:
Senior Software Engineer
Owning Database architecture road map to support business and technical requirements, to assure
application reliability, availability, scalability, security and performance.
Provide technical and data leadership to facilitate and coordinate current and future development
efforts that involve any database elements.
Assist with oracle pl/sql database development efforts, including planning, database design, code
review, tuning and documentation.
Create and enforce database development standards.
Assure adherence to standards, best practices, and alignment with overall architecture.
Provide guidance and support to performance testing engineers and Operations Database
Administrators in database monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Support IT and Operations in database monitoring/troubleshooting, capacity planning and
performance tuning.
Validate and use tools to facilitate enterprise architecture efforts. Worked on tools like Toad, SQL
Developer , Reflection & putty.
Develop architectural logical design documentation and periodically review for completeness or
response to audit or business requirement changes.
Candidate Profile
Reports to the IT Director
Assessing and interpreting business partner's and customer's reporting needs and requirements
Investigates non-standard requests and problems.
Designing and implementing scalable analytical methodologies and reporting solutions.
Querying data sources to support their initiatives
Scrubbing and monitoring data to make sure that it meets legal requirements
Maintain, monitor and execute against the data transfer schedule and goals
Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems relative to HIPAA, ARRA
and data release
Provides explanations and briefings to colleagues on topics related to analytics and data transfers
