Position Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• Solid understanding of J2EE and XML SOA 

• Excellent system analysis and design skills 

• Subject matter expertise in the following 

o Commerce Platforms (e.g. ATG, WebSphere Commerce, Blue Maritini) 

o Delivery Scheduling engines like ORS (oracle resource scheduler) and Paragon 

• Knowledge and use of different IDEs 

• Experience with tools used in deployment of J2EE applications 

• Use of various Unit testing frameworks and tools 

• Use of version control management such of SVN, CVS, Clearcase, or perforce. 

• Production environment deployment and maintenance

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: 

• • Excellent system analysis, design and development skills on the foundational concepts of the ATG platform (specifically 2007.1 onwards) 

• Expert knowledge of ATG Commerce, Content Administration and Merchandizing functions 

• And/or Expert knowledge of ATG Search (Searchandizing, Indexing, Routing and Query functions) 

• Optimizing ATG for front end performance 

• Optimizing and Tuning Search for high performance front end requirements 

• Knowledge of production environments and deployments related to ATG and related web technologies 

• Solid hands-on technical understanding and grasp of database technologies for the Web environment
