Software Developer/ Perl Developer
Design and Development of new web applications implementing complex business logic.
Maintenance of existing web applications.
Development of backend scripts for batch processes.
Candidate Profile
3 to 4 years of Web application development experience in a UNIX/ LINUX/ Perl environment.
Thorough understanding of Perl/mod_perl programming concepts and principles.
Demonstrable understanding and knowledge of popular CPAN Modules like DBI , DBIx::Class ,
LWP::UserAgent , LWP::Simple
Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts and Techniques.
Experience in Frontend technologies like CSS / JQuery / HTML / JavaScript.
Experience in at least one web templating system like Mason/Template Toolkit or others.
Demonstrable understanding of XML/SQL.
Excellent knowledge of HTTP protocol.
Skills
Knowledge of Mason Application Framework.
Demonstrable understanding of PostgreSQL database design and utilization.
Experience in optimizing Web applications and SQL.
