Job Description:
Sub-Inspector of Police
Educational Qualification: At least graduate in any discipline.
Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali/Kokborok.
Physical Measurement:
Age limit (As on 01.01.2019): 21 to 27 years.
Relaxations: Upper Age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC, ST candidates and
Government Servants.

TPSC Recruitment 2019 � SI Selection Process:
The Selection process will consist three successive stages namely (i) Physical Efficiency Test, (ii)
Written Examination (200 marks, conventional type) and (iii) Personality Test (20 marks).
The final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of marks obtained by a candidate in
Written Examination & Personality Test.
Scheme of Written Examination:
Application Fee:
Rs.100/- for General Candidates and SC/ST Candidates of other States.
Rs.50/- for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
Mode of Payment: Deposit Fee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour
of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. in the same Branch/Extension counter as a single window system.
