Trainee
Fresh graduates or Post Graduates in any scientific / engineering discipline (or) M.A English Literature with a first class academic record
Excellent English skills (verbal & written) and an eye for detail are essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Word will be an added advantage
Enthusiastic learner and passion for reading / editing
Should be willing to work in rotational shifts (no night shifts for women)
Should have above 60% of marks (aggregate) and possess great reading habit and willingness to learn.
Should undergo two months of intensive classroom training in copy editing & four months of on-the-job training (after classroom training).
Should be capable of handling simple to medium-level copy editing as per customer requirements.
Should enter their day-to-day production details in e-Workflow & Produce error-free output.
Should be able to handle LIVE production of Copy editing immediately after the completion of training.
Will be responsible for Copy editing of Journal / Books with high emphasis on quality.
