Job Description
Software Developer
Day-to-day supervision of a blended team of functional designers, developers, testers, support
staff.
Resource coordination for the team, in consultation with project managers and other team leaders.
Guide team towards successful project deliveries.
Quarterly major release cycles.
Frequent patch releases on multiple code branches.
Technical leadership and coordination for the developers.
Participate in code reviews.
Participate in design reviews.
Enforce standards.
Drive process improvement.
Desired Profile
The Development Team Leader reports to the Software Development Manager, and is expected to
lead one of the Application Development Teams on a day to day basis covering the whole spectrum
of Application Development.
The Development Team Leader will work with Project Managers, Architects/Designers, Product
Managers, Functional Designers, Programmers, Testers, Business Analysts and other parties to
ensure that development activities are delivered within agreed timescales, of high quality and are
fit for purpose.
The primary mission of the role is to foster a cohesive, motivated, engaged, highly-productive
team.
The secondary mission is to create and manage a plan for the team resources to meet project
deliveries.
