Software / Sr Software Engineer
Be responsible for the performance of the web pages in terms of page load times, page size, etc.
Collaborate with other UI and server-side engineers
Deliver in short iterations
Pro-actively engage in architecture and design of products
Actively use best practices in coding and design
Mentor junior developers.
Candidate Profile
Expert level knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Knowledge of performance, cross-browser issues and strategies for designing compatible UI
Experience with JSON, XML
Good knowledge and hands on in: Browser-server interactions, Event and object modeling,
DOM manipulation, Programming patterns, AJAX libraries and tools
Strong knowledge of OO design, common web design patterns and MVC modeling.
Experience using web frameworks like YUI, jQuery, backbone.js (not mandatory) etc.
Self-driven
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
