10th pass (or) ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/ SCVT (or) equivalent (or) National
Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT

10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (or) 10th pass plus ITI
from institutions recognized by NCVT/ SCVT
Age limit(As on 01.07.2018): 18 to 31 years
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

RRB Recruitment Selection Process:
The selection process is based on Computer Based Test(CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and
Document Verification.
Computer Based Test(CBT):
The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices
The CBT contains 100 questions for 90 minutes duration.
The syllabus of CBT is Mathematics, General Intelligence and reasoning, General Science and
General Awareness on current affairs.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST30%.
Note: These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PWD candidates in case of
shortage of PWD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
Examination Fee:
All candidates except the categories below: Rs.500/- (Non Refundable)
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PWDs/Female/Transgender/Minorities/ Economically
backward class: Rs.250/-
Note: This fee of Rs.250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges to such candidates who
appear in the First stage CST
