We are looking to recruit progressive and talented Oracle – Database Engineers to work in global class projects.
- The primary responsibility will include:
- Database performance tuning
- DB monitoring
- Resolving database related issues
- Laying best practices guidelines for set up of databases
- Writing backend procedures for ETL to load into DWH
Desired Profile
- The applicant should be good with Oracle and MYSQL. Should possess database administration skills and ability to handle Oracle apps.
- Would be required to set up and manage clusters (most likely Oracle – VM’s)
- Tasks would include managing and administrating some backend ETL programming on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Document and administer the set up and administration process
- Manage 3-5 database with MYSQL in a cluster
SKILLS :
* Experience in Data extraction, Data transfer and Data warehousing.
* Experience in setting up and managing clusters of VM’s (Oracle) and administrating performance
* Hands on experience using Oracle apps, Oracle portal, MYSQL, T-SQL
* Should be willing to work across databases like Oracle/Mysql etc
* Good knowledge in troubleshooting issues pertaining to clusters
