Job Description:
Senior Design Engineer
In-Service support for operations of fleets of various Large, Medium and Small Gas Turbine Aero
engines.
Support engine overhaul and life cycle cost optimization by suggesting suitable solutions to salvage
engine components.
A proactive, energetic individual with extensive knowledge of Gas turbine aero engines, engine
components and their function during engine operation.
Working of various engine systems e.g. oil, fuel, air, bleed etc.
Failure/ deterioration mechanisms leading to component/ system failures or distress.
Troubleshooting of failures.
Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair/service of aero engines.
Various inspection methods including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques.
Various types of repairs which can be applied to components.
Various manufacturing techniques and their application during component repair.
Well Versed architectures like FADEC, EEC, etc.
Good hands on experience in using MS Office ( Word, Excel, Power Point and similar tools).
