Job Description

Position responsibilities:

Acting as technical point of contact for clients, routing applicable issues to either our solutions Engineers or development group as well as installs and upgrades of existing shared technology products

Handling support requests in the Support Center(support ticket tracking tool) in timely and professional manner.

Setting up new clients on our hosted technologies. Administration of the hosted technologies included users, configuration and updates.

Troubleshoot client issues in relation to the GlobalLink product line as well as database or content management system integrations

Testing and filing issue discovered during testing in our bug tracking tools.

Perform other special projects or duties when required

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

Experience with technical support and bug reporting tools, identifying, documenting and tracking support issues and defects.

Experience with virtualization.

Enjoy working with people and being part of a team.

Skills preferred:

Excellent skills with Mac OS, Windows, Unix and Linux.

Experience with testing website and web applications.

Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Ability to train clients.

Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.

Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.

Experience with hardware and software issues

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

Working knowledge of writing, executing test scripts and understanding software testing methodologies.
