Job Description
Procurement Operations Associate
Provide day
to day buying and tactical sourcing services at the customer Procurement
Operations center.
Additional
responsibilities include supporting and training Specialists and Senior
Specialists, resolving complex tactical issues, and supporting continuous
improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities Include:
Apply
tactical sourcing for savings generation on non-routine purchases.
Execute
processes in compliance with the Procurement Operations Playbook standards;
provide support for the order through the entire transaction.
Manage
individual compliance issues directly with customer stakeholders, escalating if
issues are systematic.
Ensure
customer quality and timeliness requirements are met through each executed
purchase order.
Understand
and apply the end-to-end process for tactical procurement.
Ability to
share and educate others on tactical purchasing knowledge.
Assist
special team projects as needed.
FAR based
purchasing experience a plus.
SAP
experience a plus.
