Job Description
Analyst /
Senior Analyst.
Accurately
enter commercial contracts for various market segments into Model N (contract
management system), based upon proper evaluation and interpretation.
Assure the
timely payment of contractual rebate obligations to managed care customers.
Utilize
rebate processing and validation systems, and complete detailed calculations
and analysis of rebate payments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately
enter and maintain contracts for various market segments into Model N, to
ensure accurate data availability to allow for flexible and meaningful
management reporting and rebate adjudication.
Conduct
peer review sessions.
Possess
knowledge in managed care and Medicare market segments to accurately interpret
contracts for these businesses.
Possess the
ability to test and understand the functionality of Model N and to understand
the interrelationships between the various functional modules.
Ensure
timely execution of all components of contract administration in a team
oriented approach within Healthcare Contract Administration and to provide
clear and open communication to team members.
Responsible
for the proper evaluation and interpretation of managed care contracts to
ensure rebate payments are made accurately and timely as per the terms and
conditions of the contracts.
Responsible
for the detailed analysis and validation of rebate claim data and the
calculation of rebate payments utilizing mainframe systems and PC based
applications including processing customer data in ECP.
Responsible
for maintaining an effective customer focus: communicating with and providing
rebate claim supporting documentation to external and internal customers.
Responsible
for the analysis and resolution of disputed rebate claim data.
Responsible
for managing/coordinating special projects.
Responsible
for the review and approval of rebate disbursements for smaller accounts.
Maintain
systems and logs to track status of contracts and rebate processing for review
by Contract/Rebates senior analysts and managers.
Responsible
for adhering to all company and departmental policies and procedure.
Participate
and/or contribute to special projects as needed.
Possess
detailed knowledge of systems and rebates to mentor and train new Analysts.
Desired Profile :
B. Com, MBA
(Finance), CA/ICWA (Inter/Final) with 0-3 years of post qualification
experience.
Working
knowledge and proficiency of analytical computer programs, e.g., Excel, Access,
Word, is essential. Additional knowledge and proficiency with other financial
or contracting systems will be considered beneficial.
Ability to
devise new approaches, methods and systems in response to the changing managed
care environment.
Strong
verbal and written communication skills required to ensure ability to interact
with all levels of internal and external customers.
Excellent
analytical and contract interpretation skills.
