Job Description:
Maintenance Asst, Asst Physiotherapist, Asst Lab Technician, Asst Pharmacist,
Asst Dietician, HEM/MCO
Maintenance Assistant (Mech): ITI in Welding /Fitting /Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/
Auto Electrician
Maintenance Assistant (Elect): ITI in Electrical Trade
Assistant Physiotherapist:
Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized University/Institute.
Post Qualification Experience: Three years relevant experience in large Hospital/ Nursing Home
Assistant Lab Technician:
Graduate in Science + Certificate of Medical Laboratory Technician / Xth Board exam pass +
Certificate/Diploma in Medical Lab Technician.
Post Qualification Experience: Two years out of which at least one year as Lab. Technician in case
of Graduates and 5 years out of which four years as Lab Technician in case of Xth Board Exam
pass.
Assistant Pharmacist:
10th Board Exam pass/Graduate in science with recognized Certificate/Diploma in Pharmacy or
Degree in Pharmacy
Post Qualification Experience: Three years as Compounder/Pharmacist in a Hospital in the case
of Degree/or Graduate with Diploma and six years in case of 10th Board Exam pass with
Diploma/Certificate
Assistant Dietician:
B.Sc/Bachelor of Home Science (B.H.Sc.) with Diploma in Dietetics or B.Sc Degree in
Nutrition/Dietetics or B.Sc in Food and Nutrition from a recognized University/ Institute.
Post Qualification Experience: Three years relevant experience in large Hospital/Nursing home.
HEM (MECH)/MCO:
Essential: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Three years course)
Desirable: Should possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License

Payscale:
Maintenance Assistant: Rs.11,330-20,000/-
Assistant Physiotherapist/Assistant Lab Technician/Assistant Pharmacist/Assistant Dietician:
Rs.11,670-20,600/-
HEM (MECH)/MCO: Rs.12,030-21,220/-
NMDC Recruitment Selection process:
The mode of selection will consist of (1) Written Test (100 Marks) and (2) Trade Test/ Job-
Proficiency Test (Qualifying Nature) (i.e. 2nd Level Test)
Written Test:
Question paper booklet for Written Test will be in Hindi & English which consists of objective type
multiple choice questions(100 Marks).
For answering the questions Optical Mark Reader/Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet will be
provided or any other mode as decided by NMDC Ltd.
Scheme of Examination:
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
SC/ST-30 marks, OBC-35 marks and UR � 40 marks
Trade Test/Job Proficiency Test:
There will be 2nd Level Test i.e. Trade Test/ Job Proficiency Test which is qualifying in nature.The
qualifying marks in Trade Test/ Job Proficiency Test (out of a total of 100 marks) will be as under:
40 percent marks for UR Candidates
37 percent marks for OBC Candidates and
30 percent marks for SC/ST.
Application Fee: Rs.150/- (No fee for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen categories and Departmental
Candidates)
