Software Engineer
Develop, debug and maintain complex software modules in backup /restore /data protection
product on Unix/Linux and/or Windows platforms.
Learn complex technologies like backup /restore /cdp /snapshot /replication management quickly.
Identify optimal solutions for complex user scenarios.
Produce good quality code that is well tested.
Communicate with teams in remote geographies to understand issues or discuss solutions.
Interact with partners and customers to resolve field issues.
Present technical topics in internal and external forums.
Managing a module independently end to end from requirement analysis to release and
maintenance.
Necessary Qualification/ Technical Skills
Linux (RHEL preferred)
In depth Working experience on any open source software
C/C++/Perl/Bash
CVS/GIT
C, Shell script, Perl Script, PostgreSQL, Linux
