Job Description

Software Development Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

- Candidate will be mainly responsible to develop/maintain web based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree is required

- Between 2-4 years experience in developing web based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies

- Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must

- Good experience in building web based applications localized in many languages is an advantage

- Experience in building ecommerce based web applications is useful

- Sound knowledge of concepts of Microsoft .NET 4.0, 3.5 versions

- Experience in building web based applications using ASP.NET with C# is a must

- Experience with SQL Server 2005, 2008 is a must

- Ability to develop using Visual Studio 2010/2008 IDE is a must

- Sound knowledge in XML, XSL technologies is a must

- Good experience in building WCF services

- Ability to develop windows services, console applications and windows applications using .NET is desirable

- Exposure to advanced .NET concepts like MVC.NET, WPF, Remoting technologies etc is desirable

- Knowledge of processes like unit testing, integration testing, code analysis, code coverage using built in tools in Visual Studio 2010 is an advantage

- Prior experience of working with globally distributed teams is desirable
