Job Description:
Senior Technical Assistant/Junior Technical Assistant
Senior Technical Assistant:
Full-time Degree in Electronics/ Communication Engineering with minimum 60% marks
OR a combination of above streams of Engineering from a recognized University approved by AICTE.
Two years in planning, execution, supervision and/ or quality control assurance for
construction projects of Signal & telecommunication preferably in Railways or PSU or
Reputed private company
Junior. Technical Assistant:
Full-time Diploma Electronics/ Communication Engineering with minimum 60% marks
OR a combination of above streams of Engineering from a recognized University approved by AICTE.
One year in planning, execution, supervision and/ or quality control assurance for
construction projects of Signal & telecommunication preferably in Railways or PSU or
Reputed private company.
Note: Candidates with knowledge of Auto CAD and MS Office (Excel) will be given preference.
Age Limit(As on 1.1.2018):
Senior Technical Assistant: Below 32 years (Relaxation as per government policy)
Junior Technical Assistant: Below 30 years (Relaxation as per government policy)
Total Vacancies: 14 Posts

Junior Technical Assistant: 6 Posts
Contract period: 2 years
KRCL-Konkan Railway Recruitment 2017-Selection Process:
The candidates shall arrive at the time and venue and get themselves registered with the
nominated KRCL official for the walk-in interview as indicated. Group Discussion (GD) or any other
elimination round, can be introduced depending on the number of candidates and those candidates
who get through in the elimination round will be called for interview.
The candidate will be interviewed by a nominated Committee and the selection will be
finalized on merit, based on the performance in the interview, qualification and experience.
Candidates having exposure to railway working will be preferred.
The decision of the Nominated Committee of KRCL shall be final and binding.

Candidates should report directly for Walk-in-Interview along with one copy of application along
with Original certificates (age proof, qualification, experience, caste etc.) and one set of attested
copy of the same. The eligible Candidate comes to attend Walk-in-Interview on 13 December 2017
at following venue address.
Documents Required:
Attested copies of certificate in proof of qualification (As per the qualification specified in
the notification).
Attested copy of Proof of Date of Birth.
Attested copy of caste certificate in the format required for Central Government
Employment (in case of SC/ST/OBC) and certificate in support of claims for Ex-servicemen.
Two attested passport size recent photographs.
Experience certificate if any.
Character certificate.
