Software Developer
Candidates Must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university
3 - 4 years of Cognos report development and Framework Manager modeling
Proficient with reporting toolsets such as Report Studio, Query Studio and Analysis Studio
Proficient in SQL and relational database such as Oracle or columnar database. Vertica knowledge is a plus.
Understand dimensional data structures and complex hierarchies
Experience with Cognos best practices & methodologies
Understand the Cognos architecture and administration
Ability to perform data analysis, troubleshoot data integrity issues and trend data analysis
Working knowledge with dashboard
Knowledge in Cognos SDK using Java or .Net is a plus
Strong ability to multitask and delivering high quality solutions
Proven ability to work well in a technical, fast paced and challenging environment.
Ability to work independently without significant oversight
Ability to quickly grasp problems and issues
Able to communicate effectively with other team members and business analysts
