Job Description

1. Assemble & Fitting New Tools

2. Debugging of progressive Tools

3. Carrying-out Set-up and Tool Maintenance activities

4. Breakdown  Maintenance of Tools

5. Preventive Maintenance of Tools

4. Conduct first piece inspection and record data and confirm before production start-up

5. Maintaining the safety norms at the shop-floor

6. Involving in Improvement activities like SGA and CIP

7. Maintaining good house keeping

8. Carrying-out the documentation work

Diploma or Certificate course in Tool & Die Making course from NTTF / GTTC or any other recognized Institute

Around 4-6 years experience in Progressive Tool Making.

1. Using Measurement Instruments like Vanier/Micrometer / Profile projector / Tool Microscope

2. Able to read tool drawing

3. Basic knowledge of Tool designing

4. Knowledge of Trigonometry

5. Knowledge of grinding operation and other mechanical process

6. Press Setting and taking trails of New tools

7. Tool Debugging skills

8. Tool assembly and fitting skills

9. Knowledge og Preventive Maintenance of Tools

10. Knowledge of Breakdown Maintenance of Tools
