Job Description:
Content Developer
Candidate should possess Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Journalism or a related field preferred
Foreign language skills a huge plus, particularly French, German, Japanese, and Spanish
A deep appreciation of the written word, and an active interest in the entertainment industry
Creating captions, subtitles, scripts , content and English templates for translation into foreign languages
Reformatting or conforming foreign language files to video master
Encoding and export of caption and subtitle files for delivery
Learning and becoming completely proficient in the use of captioning and subtitling applications
such as Swift, MacCaptions and other proprietary systems
Gaining a full understanding of the various captioning and subtitling specs for different clients and
delivery platforms
File delivery and archive, as well as corresponding updates of workflow management system.
Identification and reporting any issues to the production team in a clear and concise manner
Strictly adhering to deadlines and other client requirements
Training will be provided on all software as well as technical specs. Candidates must be adaptable
and eager to learn.
