Job Description Software Engineer
Perform programming and testing assignments for back-end processes.
Create project estimates and designs for back-end processes.
Create programming specifications, paying special attention to performance and ability to scale.
Follow the test driven development paradigm, creating both unit & end-to-end tests.
Utilize Jira to track current status and ownership.
Develop knowledge of concepts in the leasing industry and learn product processes and features.
Suggest product, process and documentation improvements.
Candidate Profile
Organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks/assignments/projects.
Proactively contribute as a team member.
Take ownership of assigned goals and objectives.
Provides assistance to others to ensure tasks in assigned areas are completed within deadlines.
Skills
Ability to efficiently interface with data structures on both SQL Server and Oracle.
Familiarity with operating systems including Windows (2008/2012 Server) and Linux (Red Hat).
Intermediate knowledge of best practices in software support and customer service.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills.
Microsoft Office skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of required technical areas.
Readily learns and applies new information/concepts.
