Java
programming experience Experience working with plug-ins in Eclipse Familiarity
with the software development lifecycle (evaluating requirements, sizing
requirements, design, code, unit testing, maintenance) Familiarity with a variety
of platforms (Linux, Windows)
Strong
communication skills Strong problem solving skills Familiarity with processes
to include open source software Working knowledge of Linux & Windows OS.
Well versed
with unit testing tools like Junit, Jmock and should have practices TDD.
Familiar
with continuos intergration tools like Jenkins/Hudson etc. Person should have
exposure to Automation frameworks.
Cloud/
Virtualizaiton domain experience is an added plus.
Person
should have exposure to working in a globally distributed environment.
