Job Description:
System Administrator
Minimum 2-5 years experience with strong communication skill.
Candidate must have exp. In overseas client facing support for at least two years, US/UK
preferred.
Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems remotely, proficient in and remote
management and help desk support.
Telephonic desktop support, Outlook configuration & troubleshooting, user and group creation,
Network printer installation, troubleshooting Shared & NTFS Permissions, AV management, software
& driver installation, backup & recovery, VPN configuration.
Resolving start up and login problems, Desktop performance and optimization, resolving browser and
internet connection, Wi-Fi issues, troubleshooting DNS & DHCP issues.
Experience in working multi domain environment with 1000+ users with excellent troubleshooting
skill and team management.
Experience is writing knowledge base (KB) article for basic troubleshooting.
Understanding of TCP/IP protocol, IP addressing, networking & VLAN concept and cabling is must.
Manage and troubleshoot windows server and client operating systems and related software
applications.
Knowledge of networking concepts/ technologies and system security is must.
Manage, monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 servers in domain environment.
Software & Hardware installation, maintenance, up gradation and troubleshooting of Windows 7,
windows server 2008/12, MS SQL Server 2008/2012, IIS, Visual Studio 2010/14.
Manage and troubleshooting of ADS, GPO, DNS, DHCP, WDS/WSUS & VPN.
Excellent troubleshooting skill with ability to support and troubleshoot elevated queries
independently.
Hands on experience of Hardware troubleshooting must have worked with Dell Power Edge Server.
Experience in managing Sophos/ MacAfee AV with EP management, exposure to DLP and data
security desirable.
Exposure to IT asset management, documentation and process, licensing knowledge and
compliance.
Good communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with technical and non -
technical issues with colleagues at all levels within and outside organisation.
Familiarity & working knowledge of excel is must.
Skills:
Ready to work in Rotational Shift.
Excellent troubleshooting skill in multiple domain environment, AV and security.
Monitor network services, check logs and audit management.
Understanding of share and NTFS permission.
Responsible for routine LAN administration, maintenance, troubleshooting identifying risks and
issues.
Installation, configuration & troubleshooting of Windows server 2008/2012, SQL Server 2008/2012,
Visual Basic & .net application.
Backup server, file/folders.
Configuring and troubleshooting of DNS/DHCP/WDS/WSUS.
Documentation of IT assets, good in excel.
Responsible for monitoring performance and conformance to standards, work ethics, company
policies and professional conduct.
Proficient in managing and troubleshoot server/desktop level queries independently.
