Job Description:
Senior Systems Engineer
Candidate should possess BE in Computer Science, Information Systems
4.5- 6.5 years of relevant experience
Strong time management and planning skills required
Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
Flexible to work extended hours (if required) and 24/7 shifts
Working knowledge of storage subsystems and SAN/NAS/CAS infrastructure
Working knowledge on Commvault Backup software is must
Basic knowledge in Leagto, Netbackup or any other backup software
Knowledge of any Unix flavor is added advantage
Basic Knowledge on Shell / Perl scripting
Good experience in IBM Tape Library operation
Experience with Open Source software and operating systems is a positive though not required
Administrative knowledge of one or more primary operating systems
Experience developing solutions that work cross-platform (Windows, UNIX, Linux)
Experience integrating development projects with 3rd party enterprise management
solutions from vendors such as HP, BMC, CA, IBM, etc.
