Job Description
Consona
Compiere India is looking for a Senior Software Engineer-QA who will be
responsible for the entire testing lifecycle activities like developing test
plans, product test cases and automated test suites for Compiere products.
The
position will lead the process change to Test Driven Development.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Learn and
understand Compiere product features and technology architecture.
Develop
test plans, test cases and test strategy based upon functional and design
specifications
Execute
functional, regression, upgrade, deployment, sanity, configuration and
performance tests for Consona products.
Configure
the necessary test environment including OS installation and IT setup.
Identify
effective approaches to process improvement activities by analyzing metrics,
performing root cause analysis and by taking appropriate corrective or
preventive measures.
Testing
process and promote opportunities for product innovation.
Communicate
testing status and issues on a regular basis with help of company-approved
procedures.
Interact
with Technical Writers and ensure product documentation validates the actual
performance of the product.
Keep
abreast of the technical knowledge, tools and processes related to testing.
Undertake
any other assignments for which the company’s management may request your
participation from time to time.
Minimum
Education: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.E
Minimum
Experience and Skills :
Minimum 4+
years experience in the software testing and quality
Strong
knowledge on QA processes and methodology, with ability to create excellent
test plans and test cases.
Experience
in performance testing using automated testing tools - LoadRunner
Experience
with Java Testing with Junit and Selenium
Expert in
development environments, debugging tools, source control systems, bug tracking
and testing tools.
Broad
technical knowledge
Work with
the team of QA engineers in creating test plans and test cases of assigned
features.
Excellent
analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Excellent
oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read and interpret
complex information.
Ability to
work independently with minimum supervision as well as work in a team.
