Job Description:
Safety Assistant
Pass in SSLC.
One year Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety from a Government recognized institute or Public
Sector Undertaking.
Note:
Those applicants having qualifications equivalent to any of the prescribed qualifications should
submit Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority along with their application and
without such certificate, their candidature will not be considered.
The qualification should be from a Government recognized institute or Public Sector Undertaking.
Applicants who have completed Diploma/Certificate courses from private institutes recognized by
Government should submit proof of recognition issued by Government along with their application
and without such proof, their candidature will not be considered.
Age limit(as on 10.12.2017): Below 30 years. Age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for
OBC. Age relaxation of 5 years applicable for applicants who have been domicile of J&K during the
period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Period of Contract: 3 years
Cochin Shipyard Recruitment Selection process:
The method of selection will be through a Practical test. Schedule of the Practical test will be
intimated to the short-listed applicants through E-mail/CSL website.
Application fee: Rs.100/- (No fee for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST))
