Job Description:
Skilled Work Assistant (SWA), O.B.E Driver
Skilled Work Assistant (SWA): Matriculation or ITI or equivalent from recognized Board/University
/Institution.
O.B .E Driver:
Matriculation or ITI or equivalent from recognized Board/University /Institution.
Valid licence in Motor Boat/OBE driving.
One year relevant practical experience.
Desirable Qualification: Knowing Swimming and plying of Boat (Relevant certificate, if any, to be
enclosed).
Post wise vacancies: 33 Posts
Skilled Work Assistant(SWA) � 32 Posts
O.B.E Driver � 1 Post
Age limit: 18-30 years (Upper age limit relaxable by 05(five) years for SC/ST and 3(Three) years
for OBC Candidates against reserved vacancies ONLY. For CWC Departmental Candidates upper age
limit relaxable as per rules)
Posting: The above posts are temporary but likely to continue. Initial posting shall be located at
sites along the rivers in the Barak basin and its tributaries in all North-Eastern states.
(Transferable within working area of Hydrological Observation Circle, Silchar.)
