Own the platform frameworks and work with Product Management in driving new features for these modules.
Develop reusable components that are easy to configure and use by the application teams and Professional Services.
Define clean, consistent APIs for the platform components for use by the other application teams.
Write "best examples" and "how to" sections for developer documents and the knowledge base.
Prioritize large tasks and projects for the entire team.
Mentor and guide the other team members. Job Qualifications: Over 10 years of software development experience
Experience building and maintaining software frameworks
Strong hands-on experience with J2EE technologies and experience with application servers, preferably WebLogic and WebSphere
Strong object-oriented design and Java programming skills
Experience with Oracle, SQL required
Experience doing test driven development considered a plus
Experience with Software as a service
Self-driven and a fast learner, able to grasp new ideas and concepts quickly
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on teamwork
Familiarity with Web Services Technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, Apache Axis/JAXWS) a plus
