-Main responsibilities will include programming in Perl, Java, designing and implementing features for Automating Testing, and general troubleshooting on Android based mobile platforms.
_ Experience with Automation, testing and/or software development of Android based or similar Smartphone applications is preferred. - Experience with multimedia standards (JPEG, H.264, MPEG, OpenGLES, OpenVG ) or 2G and 3G multimedia applications. - Should have experience working with these applications in a wireless environment especially GSM/GPRS, UMTS or WLAN networks.
- Develop automation test scripts for various test suites using proven automation framework.
- Come up with intuitive methods to detect product weaknesses in a timely manner. - Test Automation experience (a strong understanding of test methodology), understanding of the software development cycle, and experience with test equipment or telecommunications systems are all preferred. - Software and test automation development skills are required. Java is preferred, but will consider strong C and C++ candidates. - Engineering experience of two to six years is preferred. - Education Requirements: Bachelor Degree in EE, CS, or CE. Masters Degree preferred.
