Associate Security Engineer
Execute static code analysis scans through scanners like Checkmarx, HP Fortify or IBM Appscan
and assess vulnerabilities as true or false positives by analyizing the code
Execute dynamic penetration scans through scanners like IBM Appscan and assess vulnerabilities as
true or false positives by manual penetration testing
Manual penetration testing, with a focus on the OWASP Top Ten
Verify security bug fixes.
Verify client-reported and/or independent researcher security vulnerabilities
Should be able to analyze the given task with minimal guidance
Report the status to the lead on a day to day basis
Attend calls and articulate the work to the team and to the customer
