Java Developer
Graduate degree in relevant software engineering discipline
1-3 years experience of IT software development (essential) on Distributed or IBM Mainframe
Technologies
Financial services (preferred)
Large-scale blue-chip organisations such as Barclays (preferred)
Understand the various phases of the software development lifecycle.
A track record of successful developer roles undertaken on large projects with technically complex
architectures , responsibilities to have included :
Build/ Unit Testing in distributed/ Mainframe Technology areas.
Experience in a large commercial organization in a developer role
Excellent communication skills to business and technical stakeholders
Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and interpret requirements into low level specifications
Knowledge of configuration management tools & processes such Visual Source Safe
