Job Description:
Staff SQA Engineer
Candidate should possess B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in any discipline
Create and maintain test scripts in applicable programming or scripting language.
Execute tests, detect problems, analyze failures and maintain test environment.
Clearly and accurately report problems found during testing via the Vantive system.
Act as integral member of team responsible for creation and maintenance of all project and test documentation.
Update and enhance test suites and test methods in order to improve the validation of changes to products.
Follow established organizational processes.
Participate in the documentation, development and improvement of processes and procedures.
Participate in development and tracking of metrics.
Demonstrate ability to work through a full development lifecycle in area of responsibility.
Interaction (Internal and External Communication)Customer and Peer Group Interaction
Take direction from management and team leads.
Form positive relationships within and across departments.
Proactively identify areas where additional resources or guidance is required.
Know when to escalate issues.
