Job Description
Analyst
Conducts
analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and
implementation of application systems.
Reviews and
analyzes large-scale systems.
Keen eye to
performance improvement initiatives. Strong analytical skills to understand
current functionality of an application and perform tweaks to improve
efficiency.
Analyzes,
defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes,
interface design, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.
Competencies and Qualifications:
University
degree in Computer Science or equivalent
1-3 years
of progressive information technology experience with full application
development life cycle and systems integration experience
Strong
analytical and debugging skills
Customer
and results focused
Strong
analytical skills to understand current functionality of an application and
perform tweaks to improve efficiency.
Technical Skills:
Solid
understanding of Cobol, IMS/DB2, JCL, PLI, File Aid, Spufi, ISPF and other
utilities
Solid
Understanding of Mainframe technology
MQ Series
technologies (preferred)
