Software Development/Support Engineer
Software Development Engineer:
You will be building solutions that enable the business to grow faster, and help software platforms
get out of the way of that growth.
You will be working with DynamoDb, S3, Hadoop and a horde of AWS and Amazon grown
technologies.
Support Engineer:
The Amazon Kindle Engineering Support team provides tier 3/4 production engineering support and
is also responsible for providing multifaceted services to the Kindle digital product family of
development teams and working with production operations teams for software product release
coordination and deployment.
This job requires you to hit the ground running and your ability to learn quickly and work on
disparate and overlapping tasks will define your success.
Candidate Profile
B.E/ BTech /MCA/M.E / MTech from 2017 & 2018 passed out students with strong coding abilities
Software Development Engineer:
Bachelor�s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field, or 1+ years relevant work experience
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design/data structures/algorithm design,
problem solving, and complexity analysis
Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#.
Support Engineer:
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
1+ years overall development/technical support experience (less with Master�s Degree)
Experience in Perl or equivalent programming language
Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system
Knowledge of Java based technologies
Understanding of XML/SOAP, web services, workflow modeling, web application
development, and industry-standard commerce systems
Ability to write intermediate level database queries
