Assignments are designed to establish professional work knowledge and abilities. Entry-level Engineers will normally receive detailed instructions on assignments and will follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data. Candidate Profile Bachelor�s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science required. Master�s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science is preferred. This Software Engineering position is a professional level, which may include 3 years or less of experience. Less experience accepted where candidate shows history of significant involvement in product lifecycle development or applicable graduate research work. A solid foundation in computer engineering with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, embedded software, and programming techniques with strong C/C++ skills is required. Experience with device driver level software design, implementation and debugging, especially with Linux is preferred. Knowledge of TCP/IP, IP protocols, L2 and L3 protocols, Ethernet switching, networking protocols and wireless protocols is preferred.
