Software Developer
Experience with UNIX or 3+ Years of HP-UX.
Experience with configuring and designing ServiceGuard clusters with Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas CFS, SGeSAP and SGeRAC.
Strong programming skills in Perl and POSIX shell.
An understanding of UNIX security principles and the ability to identify and prevent potential security risks.
Experience building and managing HP-UX on enclosure based blade architectures.
Configuration experience with the following HP tools; Systems Insight Manager, OV Performance Agent, OV Performance Manager, and Ignite/Make__Recovery.
Applicants should have experience developing HP-UX systems running Oracle and SAP.
Additional Skills/Knowledge.
Experience installing and configuring RedHat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server on physical and virtual environments a plus.
An understanding of various monitoring protocols; SNMP, SFM, EMS, WBEM and SCOM is a plus.
Primary responsibility of this role is to develop and build; this role will not be handling operational support tasks.
