Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting any complex network security issues.

• Managing Network Security Projects; Design, implementation and support of complex Firewalls, IPS, and URL filtering mechanisms.

• Managing and coordinating the Upgrade/downgrade of all Security devices.

• Building version control and capacity reports, Keeping track of SLAs.

• Building the Network design Diagrams, and up keeping the technical documents.

• Updating the senior management with the status of projects

• Working on Audit compliance team and ensure all the process and policies are documented.

• Responsible for Providing timely RCAs and Incident reports on the on-going issues.

• Maintaining the Hardware device maintenance contract information and notification.

• Manage relations with Service providers, other IT support teams and third party support teams.

• Troubleshooting Firewall issues in Complex IP LAN/WAN routing environment.

• Good Understanding of IDS/IPS implementation and management

• Good understanding of SSL, Secure FTP, Database Firewalls and Web URL Filtering

• Very good hands on experience in Checkpoint NG and Cisco ASA/FWSM are the must. Supporting Websense, NetContinuum McAfee ePO and Guardium products are an added advantage.

• Experience in managing McAfee Intrushield IPS devices

• Good understanding of ACLs, Cisco Routers, Switches, and Load balancers.

• Good Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Checkpoint Connectra SSL VPN and Cisco ASA boxes.

• Should have experience in Medium to Large sized Network Security design and implementation projects.
