IT Engineer
Understand requirements / design for the unit code level. Develop /Write defect free code / program.
Write programming logic mapping to the stated specifications / requirements.
Prepare unit test cases and performing unit testing for defect removal.
Prepare user help files and documentation for the programs Perform peer code review.
Coordinates complex information system developments or revisions and implements technical functions in the WebSphere environment to achieve the desired result in the system or system enhancement.
Develop Java Server Pages (JSP), Data Access Objects, and batch processing procedures.
Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation.
Analyze and recommend new procedures and techniques to improve the supported systems.
Java 1.5, 1.6, EJB 3.0, PL/SQL.
Technical Competencies:
Logic Building Extensive knowledge of the methods, procedures and techniques of conducting studies for system conversions and enhancements, including the use of structure, behavior, and interaction diagrams in the analysis and design of web-based systems.
Java EE framework technologies (Swing etc) WebSphere Technology WebSphere's Rational Toolset (ClearCase and ClearQuest) Java J2E application development In-Depth Knowledge of the Product Database structure of the module person is working on.
In-Depth Knowledge of the Product Code of the module person is working on.
Basic SQL/PL SQL knowledge.
JBOSS knowledge (Good to Have)
