Candiates Should Have:
Expert level hands on experience on Red hat Linux enterpriseV5 System administration and trouble shooting.
NIS, NFS and SAMBA administration
Virtualisation VMWARE ESX
Troubleshooting on issues belongs to virtual servers
RAID and LVM Management
VERITAS Volume Manager Administration. ( Expert Level)
VERITAS Clusters administration. ( Expert Level)
DNS server Administration
Apache Server Administration
Squid Proxy Server Administration
Experience in writing Shell or Perl script.
Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems
To carry out the scheduled activities like Patch management, Log file rotation.
Should be able to lead the subordinates on technical Issues
Experience on Solaris 9 & 10 system administration, installation and configuration.
Solaris zones administration and trouble shooting.
Working knowledge on VERITAS volume manager and Solaris volume manager.
Experience in NIS/NFS, LDAP.
Experience on Jumpstart installation/Trouble shooting.
Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IP
