command over structural analysis and design using finite element software such
as Etabs, Safe, Prokon, Medas,
Exporting
the building geometry using DXF from architectural autocad drawings either his
own or using draft person.
Developing
initial building 3D-model using structural finite element software Etabs,
knowledge of all statics and load combinations for gravity, wind and seismic,
hydrostatic loads.
Providing
the structural approximate sizing based on approximate design and initial model
run.
Good
knowledge of static and dynamic analysis, working out scale factors in each
directions, checking the lateral translations, building fundamental periods,
building accelerations against the design code requirements or specialists
literature
