Applications are invited to work on the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, New Delhi (DBT) sponsored project entitled “Development of chloroplast transformation system in sugarcane” as 

Junior Research Fellow [01 post]

Department/ Section : Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering

Qualification:

M. Sc. in Botany /Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology from any reputed University. Preferred NET/SET cleared.

Experience:

Preference will be given to those having experience of 1-2 years in relevant area / project work done in suitable area supported by thesis/ research publications.

Pay Scale : Rs.16,000/- per month Plus HRA as per Institute’s rules

Starting Emolument : Approximate Rs. 211200/- per annum

Candidate Profile:

Candidate should be capable of doing all tasks mentioned in Job Profile above. The successful candidate should be highly self-motivated, energetic, work efficiently, and have a keen interest in transgenic technology..
