Job Description

Applications are invited from the Indian Citizens for engagement to various posts mentioned below

on purely contract basis for a period of one year extendable up to period of three years under the

District Project office of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan of Siliguri Educational District at Siliguri, District

Darjeeling

1) Asst. Engineer (District Level)

Education Qualification :

a) Degree in Civil Eng from any recognized University with specialization in Construction/Building Management

b) Min 1 yr experience is desirable

c) Age below 35 years (as on 01.01.2012)

2) District Research Co-ordinator

a) Honours Graduate/Post Graduate in Economics/ Mathematics/Statistics from any recognized University.

b)Experience ;- At least 1 yr in the field of Educational Research is desirable

c)Age:- Below 35 years( as on 01.01.2012)

3) District Project Management Information System(PMIS) Co-ordinator

a) Honours Graduate/Post Grad in commerce with atleast 50% marks from any recognized University

and DOE ACC ‘O’ Level or Diploma course in computer application (DCA)from any recognized

institute.

b) Experience; - At least 1 yr in Database management is desirable.

c) Age:- Below 35 years( as on 01.01.2012)

4) Accountant

a) Hons Graduate /Post Grad in commerce from any recognized University with atleast 50% marks.

b)Experience;-At least 1 yr in Accounts/Audit/Finance from a reputed organization

c) Age:- Below 35 years( as on 01.01.2012)

5) IE Assistant Data Entry Operator

a) H.S/12th Std. Passed in Science stream from a recognized Board/Council with at least 50% marks.

b) Technical skill: Speed of computer typing in English should be 40 words per minute and in Bengali 30 words per minute.

c) Knowledge of windows 98/XP,MS Office, page maker, Oracle data base and Bengali software.

d) Experience; Desirable

e) Above 21 years and below35 years of age (as on 01.01.2012)

Applications in plain white paper with Bio-data along with photo copies of supporting documents in

the form of all educational qualifications etc testimonials and two recent pass-portsize coloured

photographs (self attested) will have to be submitted to the office of the District Project Officer,

Sarva Shiksha Mission, 3rd Floor, Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad, Hakimpara, Siliguri, on or before 3pm

on the 4th of September’2012, through REGISTERED POST ONLY.

IMP : The name of the Post for which the application is being made shall have to be super scribed

in BOLD on the envelope containing the application.No application shall be received beyond 3 pm, of

4th September, 2012
