Punjab Public Service Commission Inviting Applications For Upper Intendent Home/Institution About Organization Name : Punjab Public Service Commission Website : http://www.ppsc.gov.in/ Job Description Punjab Public Service Commission inviting applications for the post of Super-intendent Home/Institution(08 –Posts) (i) Should possess Master's Degree in any of the Social Science subjects viz, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Economics or Anthropology from a recognized University or Institution. (ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard Qualification of Punjabi is essential for these posts (relaxable for Sikh Migrants upto the extent that they will have to acquire such qualification within two years after joining the service failing which their services shall liable to be terminated). For this purpose a Matriculation or its equivalent certificate for having passed Punjabi will be necessary. Pay Scale : Rs. 6400/- to Rs.10640/- Age Limit : 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 1-1-2012. Application Fee : (i)Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes of Rs.50/- all States and Backward Classes of Punjab (ii)Ex-Servicemen of Punjab No Fee to be paid (iii)All Others (including Lineal Descendant : Rs. 200/- of Ex-servicemen, Punjab).
