Job Description:
Applications are invited for the post of Tradesman Mate, Fireman and LDC from Indian national
resident candidates.
Candidate should possess 10th/12th from a recognized Board.
Physical Std for the Post of Tradesman Mate:
Should being sound health:
Physical Std for the Post of Fireman:
Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must pass the tests specified below
Height without shoes -165 erns provided that a concession of 2.5 ems height shall be allowed for
members of the Scheduled Tribes.
Chest (Normally) - 81.5 cms.
Chest (On expansion) - 85 cms.
Weight - 50 Kgs (Minimum).
Endurance Test :-
Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63,5 Kgs to a distance of 183 meter within 96 Seconds)
Clearing 2.7 metE3rswide ditch landing on both feet (long jump).
Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.
For Meritorious Sports Person:
Appointment under these order can be made of a sports person considered meritorious with
reference to the following criteria
Persons who have represented a State or the Country in a National or International Competition.
Persons who have represented the State School Teams in the National Sports/Games for school,
conducted by all India School Games Federation.
Persons who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical
Efficiency Drive.
Persons who represented their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the
Inter-University Sports Board in the games.
