Job Description

JIPMER Inviting Applications from experienced and dedicated medical officer for its organisation .

Candidates with the citizenship of India can come for an interview on 16th and 17th April 2012 at Banting Hall, JIPMER, Puducherry at 8.30 AM.

Candidates has to bring original and attested copies of the filled in application form in a prescribed format along with Demand Draft of Rs.500/-. and Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Puducherry-06(Code No-2238).

Vacancies : 89

Education : A Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in respective discipline from recognized university/Institute.         

Age:  Below 33 years, with usual relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC as per rules.  Upper age limit for Differently Abled persons shall be relaxable by 10 years. (15 years for SCs/STs and 13 years for OBCs) in r/o vacancies in Non-Surgical departments only.

Post : Senior Resident for the department of Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, EMSD casualty, Medicine, Obst & Gynae, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Plastic Surgery, Radio Diagnosis, Radiotherapy, Surgical Oncology and Surgery.

This post is on tenure basis for a period of 1 year.

Selection process :

Selection will be through written examination/ personal interview and selected candidates will get basic pay of Rs.18750/- along with grade pay of Rs.6600/- per month.
