Qualification: M. Tech/ M. Sc in Agricultural Engineering/ Agricultural Physics /Water Science and Technology with B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering/Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Geomatics/ Civil Engineering /Natural Hazards and Disaster Risk Management/ Computer application in Agriculture with at least 60% marks and having experience in application of Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS tools and modeling techniques.
Desirable: Specialization in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/ Irrigation and Drainage Engineering/ Hydrology/ Water Science and Technology/Water Resources Development and Management/ Management degraded land and poor quality water/ RS and GIS applications and evidenced from research work pertaining to application of geospatial tools, models and decision support systems in Irrigation water management. Skill in programming with Visual Basic/.NET/VBA languages, expertise in use of Geoinformatics and Decision Support tools.
